Fruits and Pie Fillings are raw-packed. This means that the jars are filled with uncooked fruit and then hot liquids are poured over them before the hot water bath to seal the jars. This preserves the original texture of the fruit for the freshest taste when the jars are opened.
Peaches are sliced into large pieces and lightly seasoned with cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and ginger. Nice side dish for chicken and fish.
