Fruits and Pie Fillings are raw-packed. This means that the jars are filled with uncooked fruit and then hot liquids are poured over them before the hot water bath to seal the jars. This preserves the original texture of the fruit for the freshest taste when the jars are opened.
Apples are cut into large chunks and lightly seasoned with cloves cinnamon, and allspice. Nice side dish for pork or just for snacking.

I needed spiced apples for my new stuffing recipe so I went to google and was told to go to Etsy. I was very pleased with the apples and I was surprised that they were so close to my home in Vienna. One time in my life I would have driven to Manassas, but now that I am 90 years old I limit my driving to a 10 mile radius.
