Fruits and Pie Fillings are raw-packed. This means that the jars are filled with uncooked fruit and then hot liquids are poured over them before the hot water bath to seal the jars. This preserves the original texture of the fruit for the freshest taste when the jars are opened.
Pears are sliced into quarters and lightly seasoned with sugar, mint leaf and pure mint extract which is clear. No artificial green coloring. Nice side dish for beef and fish.
